Rare Treat, an art exhibition and a panel discussion on discrimination against women in the arts, both happened last week in Culver City. The events were organized by a few current MFA students at OTIS, and I was glad to attend, so to recap: here's an installation view of the gallery exhibition courtesy of the facebook event page, the intimate panel discussion was a handful of us around a conference room table sharing stories and strategizing about whats next for feminism as artists, at times a lively discussion, this is one moment frozen forever into an image featuring Christy Roberts and Matt Carter, and the conversation continued into the opening reception...
